Supporting Children and Young People to Understand an Autism Diagnosis

The Autism Education Trust has newly released materials on Understanding Me and Understanding Others. These are designed to give school staff, parents and carers the tools and language to discuss autism diagnosis with children and young people. These materials have been developed with, and by, the Autistic Young Experts, informed by their lived experiences of learning about their own diagnoses and learning how to understand and support their peers.
